BloggingTips.Guru arose from my technical blog, TechLila. I got the idea for my first blog in 2010 while studying for an Engineering degree. I was in the 3rd year of my studies and set up Namase.com to share my knowledge and experience with others who were interested in the subject. I changed its name to TechLila.com in 2012 to better reflect the engineering and technology focus of the blog.
After completing my engineering degree, I joined Tata Consultancy Services. I enjoyed the work but found I was spending a great deal of my spare time blogging and offering technical tips and advice to other bloggers. I decided to focus on blogging and resigned from Tata Consultancy to blog full time with TechLila.
Later, I constructed several niche affiliate sites to promote a range of products. These proved successful, and in addition to TechLila, I now run an affiliate marketing business along with my business partner Tushar Thakur. After a while, I noticed that TechLila was covering an increasing number of general blogging and SEO issues and was losing its intended technical focus. I realized that I needed two different sites: one specifically for bloggers and blogging, and another to focus exclusively on technical topics.
BloggingTips.Guru was created as a blog for bloggers only, covering general blog-related topics, including aspects of SEO that are useful to bloggers. TechLila.com still exists, but now targets those specifically interested in technology, from beginners to experts. An example of its many functions is to offer tips and advice on systems such as Windows, Android, iPhone, and so on.
These are my three great passions: SEO/blogging, affiliate marketing, and body engineering, and I work full time on them. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with friends, trekking, traveling, reading, and computer gaming.
